The final project scope, engineering, structural assemblies, construction classification, fire-resistance ratings, deliverables and responsibilities are established through the applicable project documents and agreements.

References to Type II construction describe a potential project approach and do not mean that every project using Wheeler components will receive a Type II classification.

Construction classification and fire-resistance requirements are determined by the project’s licensed architect and structural engineer based on the complete approved design and assemblies and are subject to acceptance by the applicable building authority.
